We went swimming on Saturday. It's been a long time since I last swam because I refuse to go to public swimming pools. The toilets are so dirty and they don't have hot water. Not to mention you'd probably have to queue for a cubicle. So anyways, we went to his club to have a swim and it was very bright and sunny. I was pretty pleased, hoping to get a tan but as soon as we stepped into the pool, the dark clouds starting rolling in and about an hour later after abit of thunder and lighting we got out. It rained and stopped while I was washing up and when we drove off the sun came out again. !!!! It's a conspiracy. We were prevented from blading last week because of the rain too!
I think I over strained myself. My arms and thighs were aching like crazy after that. It was agony trying to wash my hair cuz it hurt to lift my arms up. The last time I felt like that was after the last time I went snowboarding, and then I promptly fell sick the next day.
We met his friends and went to Botak Jones for dinner. Finally! I'd been wanting to try out that place for a long time. The food was really good! Went to his friends place to chill after that, and we bought ice cream. Ben & Jerry's Dublin Mudslide and Turtle Soup. YUMMY!!
I was so exhausted, I had the best sleep ever on Saturday night.
A great Saturday kinda makes up for a slightly less then crappy Friday. Being in a leadership position is not something I gleefully take, but it's a responsiblility that I will bear. I don't regret what I did because that is my responsibility.
