As soon as she got off at the Toa Payoh bus interchange she had a sudden craving. She quickly walked over to the screen where they showed all the bus departure times to find out when her connecting bus will be leaving. It was 10:39am. Her next earliest bus leaves at 10:43am. She hurriedly strode out of the interchange. "There had to be a McD's somewhere." She hurriedly scanned ahead of her. No McDonald's there. She looked to her right. "A Burger King! But they don't have what I want. Where's a McD's when you want it?" Then she spotted a sign just beyond the Burger King. It mostly obscured by another sign jutting out from the corner of the building. She could see that it was red and it had the words "Desserts here" right at the bottom. "Could it be?" She tilted her head to the left to get a better look and there it was, the bright yellow M! She gleefully rushed to the outlet and upon reaching the counter, she placed her order. "A hashbrown please." Now with the coveted food item in hand, she ran back to the bus interchange and made it just in time to board her departing bus. Perfect. =)
