This past weekend must've been my busiest,
most exhausting, but the most fun yet for the
whole year.
Youth!
On Friday night at youth, we finally launched
our new name! Having been asked to come up
with some designs, I had known about the new
name for a while but I was just as excited as
everyone else. No more Elim Youth Network.
We are now
Brand new name, brand new identity.
This is definately a change for the better.
Now I can't wait till the dance performance
and the launch of our spiffy t-shirts. I think
it's really an oppotunity for everyone to see
our youth ministry in a whole new light.
Saturday holds new adventures!
Us young adults at youth went on a
cycling trip at Pulau Ubin. We met bright
and early in church at 7am and proceeded
to the Changi Jetty. And everyone knows the
drill, get on the boat, get off the boat, rent a
bike and you're all set.
I would just like to say I am very very
pleasently suprised at myself not collapsing
and having to be dragged back home.
Everyone knows I haven't excercised in the
longest time and that I'm beginning to
resemble a side of pork. And yea, my legs ain't
even aching! Despite being throughly
exhausted I pretty much enjoyed myself.
I came home to find a huge bouquet of roses
waiting for me. I was like, "WTF!? It isn't my
birthday... yet." Not gonna say no more except,
somebody's still waiting at the dock for a ship
that has already long set sail.
Dinner was a delectable buffet spread at the
Cricket Club. Yummy! So much for the workout
in the morning. ;P
Sunday also started out bright and early, with me
being in church at 8am, and leaving only at
4.30pm after our dance practice.
Joyce, Andrew and I met at 6.30pm... no wait, wait.
I was there at 6.30pm and they arrived at...
let's see... LATE! *tsk tsk* ;)
Anyways, Joyce and I treated Andrew to a lovely
Birthday dinner at Spaghettis. Hope you had a nice
time Andrew! We're nice company eh? hee hee...
Needless to say, I have had little sleep and.... it's back to work... =(
