Did anyone catch the National Day Parade
last night?
Please tell me that I'm not the only one
who noticed that the accompanying music
to those National Day videos was a really
bad ripoff of the Theme from the Lord of
the Rings.
Went to my uncles place for dinner and to
catch the parade. As usual, loads of funny
comments. Had my favorite Indonsian
chicken rendang, it's pretty different from
what you get here, though I suspect it
wasn't made by my grandma cuz it wasn't
as nice. And Durian! I hadn't had that in
the longest time so I was pretty gleeful
when it was brought out.
Singapore Idol was pretty excruciating,
thank goodness they switched channels
but not before I heard some songs.
Over the Rainbow was a bad bad song
choice. That song has been so widely
covered by so many of the greats and
you sing it like that??? HAHAHAHA
What were you thinking???
